Five years. Five short years were enough for the young artist from the suburbs of Atlanta to shake up the music world: a global country-rap hit with "Old Town Road," a viral TikTok sensation, a debut pop rap album with incredible guest features (Elton John, Miley Cyrus, Megan Thee Stallion, Jack Harlow, Doja Cat) titled "Montero," which swept up awards across categories at the Grammy Awards, and a groundbreaking coming out that challenged norms within both the country and rap communities. There's no stopping him now. His irreverent attitude, sense of humor, and unabashed passion for fashion make him a creatively vibrant artist like no other. In 2022, and especially in recent months, he has been teasing his fans with the announcement of a second album that might - just maybe - be released this summer. Could it coincide with his appearance on stage at Lollapalooza Paris? Only time will tell.
